Now that the login session was stable, I went back to refine the UI—particularly the sidebar. Sir Allen gave us a suggestion to revamp the sidebar with a cleaner, more modern look and a white background instead of the previous dark theme.
Following his feedback, I redesigned the sidebar to have a minimalist white look with subtle shadows for depth and clearer iconography. The contrast and visual hierarchy are now much improved, especially when navigating quickly between modules.
I also added new navigation links as requested, aligning them in a more structured layout. Spacing, hover states, and active indicators were fine-tuned to create a smoother navigation experience.
The sidebar is one of the most frequently interacted-with elements of the app, so making it visually appealing and functional was crucial. The updated version feels lighter, more professional, and fits better with the overall branding of the platform.
With both the session issues resolved and the sidebar revamped, today marked a strong finish to a productive week. The system is shaping up better every day.
