Day 52: Final Deployment and Farewell — Shift Modal Enhancements & OJT Completion

Today’s focus was finalizing the Shift Modal design in the HRIS and preparing everything for the next deployment cycle.

The modal now features better spacing, more intuitive date/time pickers, and clearer labels. It also handles edge cases better, like preventing overlapping shifts or invalid entries.

On the deployment side, I synced the local version to the production environment and ran several live tests to validate backend responses and frontend rendering.

The system was successfully deployed to the live site with minimal downtime. We’re now in a good position to start collecting user feedback and monitoring analytics for performance.

This wraps up a week full of UI improvements, backend enhancements, and productive cross-project work.

Today also marks the last day of our On-the-Job Training at Stafify. It has been a meaningful and enriching experience where we got to work on real-world systems and actively contribute to the development of the HRIS and WordPress-based CMD templates. Throughout our internship, we tackled various technical challenges, improved UI designs, optimized code, and supported our teammates. The guidance from mentors and the collaborative environment helped shape not just our technical growth but our mindset as well. We’re thankful for the opportunities and trust given to us during this internship. As we wrap up this chapter, we carry forward everything we’ve learned, ready to take on future challenges with more confidence and capability.
