On April 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM, we visited Infinitum Technologies Inc. in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone as part of our IT exposure program. Infinitum, a growing tech company established in 2023, specializes in security technologies like CCTV systems, smart locks, and fire alarms, as well as web and mobile development, server setup, data analytics, structured cabling, graphic design, and computer diagnostics. We were welcomed by Ms. Clarisse Gonjoran, who gave us a detailed presentation about their services and operations, showing how even small companies can thrive through skills, teamwork, and meeting client needs.
The visit highlighted the flexibility and breadth of the IT field, as Infinitum manages both hardware and software services. It was eye-opening to learn how clients value quality and trust in brands, such as preferring expensive CCTV cameras like CISCO, and how schools often request IT services at the start of classes. Ms. Clarisse’s personal touch in remembering our past inquiry about OJT underscored the importance of networking in the tech industry.
From this experience, I recognized that having knowledge in both hardware and software is a significant advantage in the IT world, especially in startups or small companies where adaptability is key. The visit also inspired me to explore certifications in network security and infrastructure setup.
The company tour was well-organized, with clear explanations and personal insights from Ms. Clarisse, which made the learning experience engaging. Despite the small office, they ensured we felt comfortable and involved in the process.
For future visits, I suggest including live demos of systems like smart locks or CCTV setups to better visualize their applications. A simple flyer or printed guide listing their services and technologies would also help us retain the information. Additionally, a breakout session with specific team members would allow for more targeted questions and deeper understanding.
